My 3yr old daughter loves clicking on the letters . She also gets into tracing the letters and gives the parents to get involved with helping them trace the letters which is fun and incredibly cute seeing her reaction when the music plays after tracing the letters correctly. Very educational and highly recommended . Parents take part in doing the tracing the letters it is so much fun :)

We love this app! I have a 1 year old and a 4 year old and they both love playing it.

Easily one of the most well-designed apps Ive ever seen. Period. Its very clear that the makers have a genuine interest in education and a real talent for smart, simple user interfaces. The artwork is great, the sound is high quality, the interactivity is top notch--this is a seriously high quality app, and I would have gladly paid more for it. Keep up the great work, guys. This last update has been phenomenal!

As an ESL teacher this one of my go to apps for young learners. I feel like this app not only has a great interactive alphabet setting to teach the letters, but the addition of the letter tracing and customizable pictures and voice over make this an ideal app for my classroom. I would highly recommend this app to parents and teachers for their young alphabet learners!

I bought this app before the typing and tracing. I love the added features, but this new version freezes on the home screen in landscape orientation every time I switch to guided access mode. I use it with my one year old so guided access is a must. Please fix soon, this is a great app and I would love to be able to use it again.

This app is really well thought out. It uses cute graphics to encourage children to trace letters, which helps build early writing skills (instead of letting them stare passively at the screen or just hit buttons for entertainment). Also, there are 2-3 activities the child can discover for each letter - like an apple gets a bite taken out with each tap on the phone, or a wave washes up on the beach, etc. Its engaging and more educational than most alphabet apps Ive downloaded and my 4 y/o loves it. Bonus: not a lot of irritating noises like some childrens apps. I dont mind hearing it in the background when my child is playing it.

My 5 year old uses the typing portion of this app to learn keyboard skills. This section is straight-forward, where you are presented with words and an on-screen keyboard highlighting the letters in the word. We use an external keyboard, making the on-screen keyboard redundant, but since the letters are presented on screen in lower-case, I think its helpful to see them in addition to the upper-case letters on the keyboard. We occasionally look at the "Explore letters" portion of this app, where there are cute graphics accompanying fun words like "Squid for S."

Worked great for a couple months. Now, it kicks out of the game when we use the trace option. We use it on a iPad 4. Please fix. Otherwise, I would have given it a five star.

Bought it yesterday and now my 4 year old know how to write her name. In just 2 days!!

I had the earlier version of this app, and it was good. But to my surprise theyve added a ton more features!! I love the ability to upload my kids photos and first name so they can trace it or learn the letters. The typing feature (game) is brilliant too because what kid doesnt want to use the keyboard like mommy and daddy. Not many toddler games take use of the keyboard! So its 3 games in one: Alphabet, Keyboard typing and Tracing. The alphabet portion was the original and its still super cute. Great job Piikea!

Runs frequently with grandkids.

Bought this for my 15 month old grandson. He loves the interactive abc and the pictures and sound you can add. Hes not ready for tracing yet but Im glad its there and we will work on it. Nice job to the developers.

My 2 year old had learnt the alphabet song in daycare, but with this app, hes able to identify out of sequence and spell words. Hes able to change the settings himself and trace words with the keyboard. Definitely brought him along nicely. Good value for money app.

My 4 year old son just discovered this app and is loving it! I just discovered the customization available and cant wait to get started? Putting in your own pictures and words is an excellent learning opportunity.

Great great great great app my child is only 2 and recognizes all his letters

I purchased this app so I could teach my grandchild who is special needs. She is struggling to identify her letters and with writing. I love that she is learning to type her name and feeling like a big girl doing so. The pen and paper is not working for her, however learning to identify her alphabets and being exposed and practicing on a keyboard is going to open her world and allow her to have communication as she has so much difficulty with speech.

My 2+ year old likes this alphabet game and I love how clear the audio is. You can customize the alphabet with your own photos. For example, I customized the Z with a photo of my granddaughter Zoe.

This is a great app for kids just learning about letters, words and sounds.

This app is SO well done. The animations are the best! It is absolutely perfect for my curious, loves to touch, touch, tap, tap 1 1/2 year old. Thank you!
